Leah was born and raised in Southern California. She has worked with children for most of her life, beginning with babysitting throughout her teenage years. She studied Early Childhood Development at El Camino College and California State University of Long Beach. After college, she spent three years working as a Behavior Specialist and Job Coach for young adults with developmental disabilities. From there, she went on to become a preschool teacher and taught Pre-K at a private preschool for ten years. Now that she is a mother, she has chosen to stay in the education field but as an administrator. Having a young child, and remembering what her childhood arts education has done for her in her life has really made her feel passionate about wanting to be a part of making the performing arts accessible to the children of today’s generation.
