PAW PLANS FOR SUMMER CAMP 2021!
We Are So Happy To Announce That Our Groundbreaking Online Summer Camp
Via Zoom Will Be Back For The Summer Of 2021 And Beyond!
2021 PHOTO.cdr

BUT, THE BURNING QUESTION ON ALL OUR MINDS…
will PAW Campers get to have an in-person camp option in 2021? Well, the good news is that while we have our super fun online camp option available, we are continuing to monitor public health and safety announcements from the CDC & other health agencies for the green light to implement Performing Arts based activities (which includes group singing) for larger capacities of children. Of course the safety and well-being of our campers, teachers, families, and facility staff is our top priority. Our criteria for when we will bring back our in-person programs includes a timeline for when there is a COVID-19 vaccine that has been deemed safe, effective, and available to all children and families. However, due to the nature of shared equipment that Filmmaking requires, we here at PAW feel that it is in the best interest of all involved for this workshop NOT to return until the summer of 2022. Please feel free to check out our Online Summer Camp page where you can see all of the workshops that your child can choose from!!! REGISTRATION FOR OUR ONLINE SUMMER CAMP IS ALREADY OPEN.

PAW’S FILMMAKING CAMP ~ SCRIPT TO SCREEN

“If you can dream it, you can do it.”
-Walt Disney

Do you have a story that needs to be told? Do you see stories as moving pictures?
If so, then PAW’s Script to Screen Filmmaking Summer Camp, for kids ages 8 – 16, is the place for you! At Script to Screen Camp, young playwrights and filmmakers will work as a team to write, direct, film, act in and edit their own original music video, TV pilot, movie trailer or short movie!
Each session of Script to Screen Camp is two weeks in length with 5 sessions available. In each session, our young storytellers will learn how to pitch their ideas, shape their stories through writing exercises, develop their ideas into visual images, create a shooting script and storyboards, then act in, film and edit their movie. This will be a collaborative effort, with every camp member contributing their ideas to help bring the vision to life. Each of our budding auteurs will get their own a copy of their short film which will have its premiere screening during the first act presentation of PAW’s Musical Theater Camp!

It is said that movies are the memories of our lifetime – a blend of artistry, academics, imagination and craft. Now is your chance to make lifelong memories at PAW’s Script to Screen Filmmaking Camp!
