ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

All the world’s a stage!
Performing Arts Workshops’ Teen Week acting camp (for ages 11 – 15) is a week-long intensive course of study for the serious young actor in a fun and energetic camp atmosphere. Students will delve into a whirlwind creative process as they stage a musical revue composed of original comedic and dramatic pieces as well as perform musical numbers from the greatest hits of POP, ROCK and DISCO!
In addition, our students will be immersed in the fundamentals of actor training: Scene study, acting technique, voice and speech, movement, improvisation and more! The program is geared towards a final performance but the ultimate goal is to help our students harness their talents to their fullest potential in a setting that is nurturing and fosters an air of teamwork.
The powerful play goes on and you may contribute a
verse! What will your verse be?
At Performing Arts Workshops, our teachers have extensive experience working with teens. Many are working professionals and have their bachelor’s or master’s degrees in their respective disciplines. Their experience and knowledge
combined with the camp’s curriculum will provide our students with a level of training comparable to what can be found at studios, conservatories and even universities. Professionalism, experience and enthusiasm are some of the defining traits of our teachers and they use these qualities to empower the personal and creative growth of our students. In addition, each teacher will have cleared a criminal background check before being placed to work with the students.
