Each Friday will have its own special theme. Parents will receive a schedule ahead of time. Some of these fun events include: Safari Day, Country Fair Day, Pajama Party, Scavenger Hunt, Super Soaker Day. In addition, we have professional entertainers and guest teachers scheduled to perform.
- Guitar Camp is open to children ages 7–13. Teen Guitar Camp is open to ages 11-15.
- Children are enrolled in camp on a first come, first served basis. No audition is
necessary. Camp maximum: 30 students per session.
- We reserve the right to determine inclusion of musical pieces for live performances at
our discretion.
- Students must provide their own acoustic guitar.
- The Guitar Camp recital is performed in concert with the Performing Arts Theater
Camp and is free and open to the friends and families of our students only.
SPECIAL EVENT DAYS
PARTICIPATION AND CAMP ACTIVITIES
CAMP - $480 for each 2 week session
EXTENDED DAY where available is $15 per day (when paid by the day as needed)
If paid in advance, Extended Day is reduced to only $10 per day
CAMP TUITION & EXTENDED DAY
* Supervised play & drop off period is offered until 8:30am.
* Please have your child arrive at camp site no later than 8:35am. End of day pick up
begins at 3:00pm.
* Courtesy pick up period is 3:00pm to 3:15pm. At sites where extended day is
available -any child left after 3:15 will incur an extended day tuition fee of $15 and
the child must be picked up by 5:00pm to avoid additional charges. At sites without
extended day - any child left after 3:30 will incur a $1 per minute supervision fee.
* Please indicate on your application if you are giving permission for your child to walk
or bike home.
* In our workshops, rehearsals, events and other camp activities, kids may be
grouped according to their age and/or individual aptitudes.
*SNACK & LUNCH – Children must bring a snack for mid morning break and a sack
lunch containing non-perishable food. We do not provide refrigeration or beverages.

2. I understand the campers will range in ages 7-13 / 11-15, on a first come first serve basis.
PAW reserves the right to offer only 30 spaces per session, per camp site.
3. Allow PAW to use their selected nurse, physician or call 911 in the event of an
emergency and I cannot be reached. I must disclose to PAW any special needs or
allergies my child may have and agree to provide arrangments as required by PAW.
4. Allow my child to participate in any promotional pictures from the camp.
5. Cancellation of any session has a $75.00 non-refundable registration fee.
6. Deadline for refund requests is 10 working days prior to first day of camp.

7. I understand there are no cash refunds if my child is absent due to illness, withdraws
early or is removed from camp due to behavior or discipline problems.
8. PAW reserves the right to substitute activities as necessary.

BE A REAL GUITAR HERO!
Do you have rock and roll dreams? Here’s your chance to learn how to play a real acoustic guitar! Whether you’ve ever picked up a guitar or if you already have mad skills, our guitar camp is the ideal setting for both beginning and intermediate students. Learn the basics of chords, tabs, picking, strumming, music theory and song writing – the first steps into the musical journey of a lifetime. As you progress, you will learn the finer points as you gain mastery of your instrument.
Each Guitar Camp session is two weeks in length with 4 sessions available. In each two week session, young musicians will make their mark on the music scene by learning and performing rock, pop and even classical guitar pieces. They will also enjoy the creative process of writing and performing an original song. As if that weren’t enough, our guitar heroes will rise to new heights in music by working in conjunction with Performing Arts Workshop’s Theatre Camp, showcasing their original compositions and providing musical underscoring for theatre productions before a live audience.
You never know where the journey could take you. Just imagine, someday playing your guitar at the Hollywood Bowl, scoring a live production of a famous American musical or playing in a rock band at the House of Blues!
Students must provide their own acoustic guitar.
2010 TEEN GUITAR WEEK
Week long intensive program for Beginning to Advanced Teens
Ages 11–15 AUGUST 23 – AUGUST 27 TUITION: $295
Available at our El Segundo, North Hollywood,
Manhattan Beach and West LA camp sites.
Program Hours 9:00am – 3:00pm (Doors open at 8:00am for early arrivals!)
End of day pick up begins at 3:00pm. Pick up grace period ends at 3:10pm.
After 3:20pm, a late fee will apply.
